The Human Body

Spread the love

Genesis 2 vs. 7 (NKJV)
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

What is essential to anything that is formed are its ingredients.  These things are the building blocks created. A cake needs flour, eggs, milk, oil, sugar, and baking powder. A car needs, an engine, transmission, driveshaft, differential, and suspension.

When baking a cake, baking powder is essential in reacting with the liquid of the cake to cause air bubbles to form, thus helping the cake to rise.

When starting a car, you must have a battery; it is the source of energy, that gives rise to the function of everything else.

The human body is made up of ingredients or building blocks. The majority of the human body is made up of water, with our cells, known as the “basic component of life” consisting of up to 90% water by weight. Therefore, the majority of the body’s mass is oxygen.  Oxygen is to the body what baking powder is to the cake, what a battery is to a car. Its viability gives rise to the function of everything else. Moreover, when its viability decreases, it creates stress on other working parts of the body, to compensate for its lack.

99% of the mass of the human body is made up of just six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus.

Today we will look at Oxygen.

Oxygen (O) – 65% – Oxygen together with hydrogen forms water, which is the primary solvent found in the body.

-Oxygen is used within a cell to help create energy

-Oxygen helps convert nutrients into energy the body can use

-Oxygen helps the body cleanse itself

-Oxygen helps the body heal from injuries

-Oxygen is also what makes your blood red

Here are some simple things you can do to increase the body’s  amount of oxygen

-Exercise, just twenty minutes a day of moderate exercise can aid the body in staying healthy. It keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which fights heart disease.

It brings more oxygen to the tissues, it boosts your mood, and with more oxygen flowing to the body it gives you more energy.

-Water has oxygen; it is a cleanser, it helps the body rid itself of toxins.

Committing these small changes in your lifestyle can have a profound effect on your health, you would never consider washing your car with coffee or sodas or juices, so let’s give our kidneys the same treatment we offer our car. When God breathed that first breath into the man, he was giving him the most important and essential thing, that one thing that all other matters arising from, he was giving the man his life. May we not take one breath for granted.  Now let’s get going. Your body is counting on you.
